Weekender Backpack 25L

I purchased this bag about 6 months ago and it’s been solid but not that great. It looks great and is very comfortable even when I really pack it but rain is a major issue. On the way to work one of the days it was lightly raining and from the outside it seemed like the water was dripping off of the bags waterproof cordura but once I got to the office all of my belongings were damp including my laptop. I had some papers that I was planning to scan that got all wrinkled after they dried so that was unfortunate. Not a deal breaker but if you work in a city where it rains you should factor this into your decision.

I purchased 3 backpacks trying to find an EDC that would work for my city gym to office commute and this bag won against Aer and Knack. As a 5' 3 woman, this bag was the sleekest and best looking by far that didn't make me look like a total ninja turtle but still fits a good amount. My main complaints are the front pocket is WAY too tight. Even when I just have my AirPod Maxes in the middle 'workstation', it is so hard to get my small hand into that front pocket to fish out a smaller item like chapstick. I couldn't even pull my kindle out of that pocket when the bag is full. Maybe a change to the zipper width/shape or give this pocket a slightly expandable fabric would really help.

Similarly, the phone/sunglasses pocket is a great addition, BUT when my back compartment is full of my change of clothes, the pocket is totally smushed and I don't feel good putting my sunglasses in it. Would suggest maybe decreasing the depth or something a little bit.

Overall this bag has a **** look that I feel good bringing into work, and I can fit my size 7.5 running shoes, workout clothes and small makeup bag into the back compartment, although it is very stuffed. No room for lunch tupperware or much else, but I do very much appreciate the outside water bottle pocket so that doesn't take up additional room. It's also very lightweight and comfortably padded even when packed tight.

Overall I think if this bag just had sliiightly more give/stretch without ruining the sleek look, it could be more comfortably stuffed and would be AMAZING! But it is still very good.

I purchased four travel backpacks for evaluation and this one won my little shootout. If you value clean aesthetics, comfort, organizational features, capacity and high-quality materials, you will be happy. It's not often I choose one of the less expensive options, which makes this an even better deal for me.

On the constructive feedback side, I think that the interior material is a bit of a step down from some of the competitors and would love to see some thought there in a future version.

Stylish yet functional. The quality of the bag is perfect and I believe will easily serve me fore more than 5 years.

First time purchasing from sympl and it was a great purchase. Love the materials used on the bag, loving the durability, and I'm loving the looks of the bag. The ykk zippers are smooth and make it a good user experience. The size of the bag is also great. It feels like 25L and it fits me perfectly for what I use it for. The looks of the bag are great. Looks super sleek and co and I love it. Overall it was a great bag and I love it.
