Durable. X PAC material is great. The layout of the backpack is good. The seating on my back based upon the shoulder straps is nice and can be compression adjusted, but a chest strap would have been helpful. The should straps don’t have any money or quick pockets which would also be a good addition along with a secret back pocket in the back panel/padding area of the backpack as well. Overall, a good purchase and very functional.

I got the 20L Carbonate. I was looking for a bag to use as a carry-on for Iceland Air (They have smaller carry-on allowances) as well as a bag for carrying my necessities through the potential downpours Iceland offers. This bag carried my iPad, my camera, my extra jacket, my rainproof pants, and several more items for the 8 days I was there. I walked through a waterfall, went whale watching in the rain, climbed around in the canyons and waterfalls for a week and not a single drop made it inside.
I'll admit I was worried about the 'hard' backing, I thought it might not be very comfortable but I haven't had a problem with comfort with this bag! I am 5'4 and heavier set, and I fully packed this bag out and wore it all day without a single problem.
I chose this bag instead of the Aer series because the zipper arrangement allows me to use small S-carabiners to deter/prevent pickpocketing. I also love the anti-theft loop on the laptop compartment. I made it back from Iceland with all my belongings :)
All in all, I could not be more satisfied with this purchase and I will continue to use this bag now that I am back home.

Although it took a few tries to figure out how to use all the various pockets, and one of the zippers was a little difficult to get around one of the corners at times, things have settled down now, and I love my new Sympl Commuter Pack. I purchased the 24L size in the Carbonate material and I am very happy with it. Right now I am using it for commuting to work by bus, but I anticipate using the pack as a second bag for travel. I was sent the X-Pac material initially, but returned it with no issues. So far, I feel like I have a high quality bag that fits a work environment.

Pretty good quality of the backpack, yet couple of threads came loose in two weeks.
The worse in this situation is me, not knowing what is my best course of action, I contacted support and was met with cold judging answers. And was told that it's not company's concern as it's not the problem with a fabric.
I understand that my question may have sounded silly, but I refuse to accept this kind of support—answer kindly is only thing I ask
